Connect external services

Connecting your OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox to your PebblePad account gives you easy access to your files saved externally and additional storage space.






Which external services can be connected?

Connect an external service

 

Connected drives can be accessed from your Pebble+ account and the files use within your work.



To set up:

  1. From the burger menu, choose Additional Settings > External Services.

  2. Select the external service to connect.

  3. Log in to the external service (if you haven't already).
  4. Agree to notification to connect with PebblePad.
  5. Give the drive a name.
  6. Click Continue, or Select this folder to confirm.

Use an external service

 

When connected, an additional tab appears in your Asset Store. Multiple connected services are shown in a dropdown menu.

To use:

  1. Upload files to the external service.
  2. The file is available from the Asset Store to use as a regular asset.



A sync occurs once every 24 hours between the external drive and PebblePad.


Deleting a file from an external drive will delete it from PebblePad, and anywhere the asset is used or attached.

 





Disconnect an external service


Remove an external service when it is no longer required. 



To remove:

  • From the burger menu, choose Additional Settings > External Services.
  • Select the X next to the external service.
  • Select Delete.

To delete an external service but continue to use the files, download from the external drive and upload directly to your Asset store.
