Use account settings to adjust your profile image, set a preferred language, control cookies to view external content and how PebblePad notifies you by email.
Your profile
As your account is linked to your wider institution profile, you cannot update your:
- Username
- Display Name
Please contact your local PebblePad support team for assistance.
Your password
Changing your password is dependent on how your institution's PebblePad installation is set up.
You can change when using a:
- Local account
You cannot change when using a:
- Single Sign On account
- VLE / LMS account

Profile image
Your account profile image will appear on your PebblePad dashboard and in comment threads.
To add:
- On the Pebble+ dashboard, click the Edit button
- From the sidebar, select an image or upload to your Asset Store.
- Click the image to select and use it.
To change:
- Repeat the steps above.
Upload an image ready to use as it cannot be edited within PebblePad.
Preferred language
You can set a preferred language to be used for you across the platform.
To set:
- From the navigation bar, click the Settings cog icon.
- From the language dropdown, choose your preference
- Click Save settings.
Available languages:
- Cymraeg – Cymru
- English – Australia
- English – New Zealand
- English – United Kingdom
- English – United States
- Nederlands - Nederland
Cookies
You can control how content from other websites and services (e.g. YouTube, H5P etc) displays in your PebblePad account by adjusting the cookie settings.
To set:
- From the navigation bar, click the Settings cog icon.
- Choose your preference from the options
- Click Save settings.
Notifications
You can adjust how you receive email notifications from PebblePad when activities occur.
- Email – individual notifications sent instantly when the event happens.
- Digest – a summary included in one daily email sent at a time you choose.
To set:
- From the burger menu, choose Additional Settings > Notifications
- Tick and untick, as preferred.
- Click Save to confirm.
