Feedback can be given on a page as an assessor field, or in the feedback sidebar as a post. Templates and rubrics are also structured ways to receive feedback.
Assessor Field
In an asset template, feedback can be given inline within a page using an assessor field. It will indicate which assessor(s) with access to your work can provide feedback.
To view:
- From the Asset Store, open the asset.
- Navigate to the page and scroll to the assessor field.
- The feedback will be displayed, with the date and the assessor's name.
Assessor History
Feedback can be updated by an assessor at a later date. Where this happens, the most recent feedback is visible on the page, and previous versions can be accessed in the feedback sidebar by clicking the Assessor History icon.
Feedback sidebar
The feedback sidebar is a way for an assessor to attach feedback to an asset. For a portfolio or workbook with multiple pages, feedback can be attached either to an individual page within the asset, or the overall asset.
To view:
- From the Asset Store, or with the asset open, click the i icon to open the info panel.
- Click Feedback to open the panel.
- The feedback will be displayed.
When anonymous marking is used, the name of the assessor is withheld.
Feedback template
An assessor can provide structured feedback, which is laid out in a template. This may be used in two ways:
Feedback sidebar
The feedback template is attached to a post.
Feedback asset
The feedback template is listed as an asset in your Asset Store.
Rubric
A rubric is a feedback table containing scores or ratings to assess your work. It can be included in either:
- An assessor field
- A feedback template
