Rubric block

A rubric provides a way for a user to capture a quick response from options displayed in a table format. Adjust the block properties to control how it is used.

Rubric table

A rubric adds a table with column and row headers. Unlike regular table blocks, the cell descriptors are written by the resource owner during the build (if required).

Custom block properties

Table dimensions

Adjust the number of columns (maximum 10) and rows (maximum 100) included in the table.

Shared block properties

The following shared block properties can be adjusted:

  • Hints on asset view
  • Show empty fields in view
  • Include evidence
  • Role restriction
  • Privacy state
  • Mandatory for progress
  • Duplicate block

Completing a rubric

The responder can select one cell per row, and cannot type into the table cells.

Rubrics can have role restriction applied to used as an assessor field.

Rubric points

Optionally, points can be added to each column, with the overall score calculated.

Rubric scores do not contribute to hours and points.
