Rating blocks provide a user with a list of options to choose from including binary, likert and numeric. Adjust the properties to control how they are used.
Binary
A binary rating block asks for an either / or response from the user, from which they can only select one option.
The following shared block properties can be adjusted:
- Hints on asset view
- Show empty fields in view
- Include evidence
- Role restriction
- Privacy state
- Mandatory for progress
- Duplicate block
Likert
A likert rating asks for the user to indicate a response on an un-numbered scale between two rating statements.
Likert increment
Increase or decrease the number of squares contained in the scale - up to a maximum of 20.

Numeric
A numeric rating asks for the user to indicate a response on a numbered scale between two rating statements.
Number range
Increase or decrease the number of squares contained in the scale. Set the starting number, with a maximum range of 20 in-between.
