PebblePad helps you create, capture & complete work during your studies. Your account gives you access to three core spaces – Pebble+, PebblePocket and ATLAS.
Pebble+
Pebble+ (or Pebble Plus) is the creative space of PebblePad, where as a Learner you will spend the vast majority of your time.
Here you can create your own portfolios and blogs, complete templates and workbooks, and upload and save a range of files to use and reuse in your work.
Every person’s Pebble+ account is private to them. What you keep in your asset store cannot be seen by anyone else, until you expressly choose to share it.
If you do, you can share with other PebblePad users for comment and collaboration, with the web for public viewing, or with ATLAS for feedback and assessment.
PebblePocket
PebblePocket is a free mobile app, available for Apple and Android devices.
It’s designed to help you do quick and simple tasks on the go, or in the moment. Take a photo, record a video, write a blog post or reflection.
Where needed, custom forms for your course can help you record activities and experiences in a structured way. These can be digitally signed by someone assessing you.
PebblePocket is not a mobile version of Pebble+ in an app, but it does provide you a quick way to access it via your device’s browser.
ATLAS
ATLAS stands for Active Teaching & Learning Assessment Space. It is the institutional space, or in other words, where your university or college organises things.
ATLAS contains workspaces, which you can think of as digital classrooms. It’s where work is handed out as Resources to the enrolled Learners.
When opened by you and submitted as an assignment, it’s in ATLAS your tutors and coaches view your work to provide comments, feedback and grades.
Typically as a Learner you won’t spend much time in ATLAS, as any tutor feedback will be available to you in Pebble+.
