Your assets and Asset Store can be kept tidy by deleting unused files. Assets mistakenly deleted can be recovered, and unwanted files purged from your account.
Delete an asset
Assets that are no longer needed can be deleted from your Asset Store.
To delete:
- In the Asset Store, tick the asset.
- Click I want to... and choose Delete.
- Read the warning model, and click Delete.
- The deleted item is moved from the Asset Store into the Deleted Store.
Restore an asset
Assets deleted from your Asset Store can be recovered if you decide they are still needed.
To restore:
- In the Deleted Store, tick the asset.
- Click the I want to... button and choose Restore.
- Read the warning model, and click Restore.
- The asset is returned to your Asset Store.
Purge an asset
Assets can be completely removed from your account - known as purging. A purged file cannot be recovered.
To purge:
- From the Deleted Store, tick the asset.
- Click the I want to... button and choose Purge.
- Read the warning model, and click Delete permanently.
- The asset is removed to your Deleted Store.
A template with Single Use must be purged to allow a new asset to be created.
