Share with people

You can choose to share assets from your Asset Store with people to give them access to view, comment or edit your work. Until shared, it will remain private.

What is sharing with people?

All the assets you create or upload into your Asset Store in Pebble+ are private. Nobody else can access to view, comment or edit any of your work unless you choose to share.

The individual asset is shared, not access to your wider PebblePad account.

All recipients must have a PebblePad account:

  • Learners and Tutors have full PebblePad accounts.
  • External non-staff members have a restricted account.

Share with people settings modal

Comments

The recipient can leave a comment on your work. Their name and message will be added to the comment sidebar and be visible to you and other viewers of your asset.

Copy

The recipient can take a full copy of your work, including any attachments, if you allow. This will be an independent asset they own separately from yours.

Export

The recipient can export your work and save it as a PDF file.

View

As well as providing read-only access for the recipient to view your work, you can specify the amount of time access will last. Either for one week, one month, or on a specified date of your choosing.

Collaborate

The recipient will become a co-owner of the asset. By doing, this applies all the other settings automatically, letting them comment, copy, export, view and edit.
